LAN•GUOR (n.)

The blissful boredom of laying in the sun;

an effortless exhaustion that lasts all day;

 The loveliness of a week long vacation;

I think I have told my husband about 20 times this month that “I need to go somewhere hot.” Though the feeling is mutual, our schedules don’t really see eye to eye.  So today is devoted to my day dream of sightseeing somewhere south, sunbathing on a boat, and sipping a margarita anywhere.

Have any of you been lucky enough to jet set somewhere warm? I would love to hear about it.

Lizzie Washable Silk Blouse $235   •  Floral Embroidered Shorts $491 (for the jet setter)  •  Rachel Zoe Gwen Sandals $195   •  Golden Knot Earrings $35  •  Tyler Fringe Bag $195

  1. LOVE this outfit! I definitely need those earrings! Would love to know where I can buy them – the link keeps taking me to the site for the sandals :(

  2. Unfortunately I’m not going anywhere warm till June but I certainly wish I was somewhere other than the snowy state of Kansas! By the way, your blog looks great!

  3. I’ve been saying the same thing all the time to myself. But when it came to me taking vacation next week, the beach thing didn’t work out and I’m just going home to New Jersey…SO not the same thing. I will pretend I’m in the sun and indulge in some langour. Love the inspiration…and those shorts!

  4. I did get to go to Mexico this winter, which was wonderful, though I wish I had had an outfit that cute to wear while I was there! Those shorts and shoes, makes me want the snow to melt NOW. If I didn’t want that enough already!
