This past Friday I took a moment and flipped through some of my old Town & Country magazines. Inside their September issue is a spread called “Be Our Guest” that I was so happy revisit. Featuring the current generation of the Woolworth family, the shoot took place during a weekend getaway to their self-proclaimed scruffy hilltop house in Maine. In my blogging hiatus I never got the opportunity to write about it so I was thrilled to thumb back through it. The photography feels so honest, the styling is prep done right, and the house party thing is such fun. Not to mention a friend of a friend was one of the weekend guests (hate him) so I paid particularly close attention. My favorite photo from the bunch was this one above of Elizabeth Woolworth, the youngest of Fred Woolworth’s eight children. I have such an appreciation for granny chic decor and that dress is making me yearn for spring and the weekend getaway I would wear it to. I just think she looks so effortlessly stylish that it was worth putting together a style study.
