I don’t really know why I was so drawn to this photo. I had about three subjects I was debating between (the easiest being Amanda Seyfriend’s stunning red carpet look) and while the struggle pushed my post time back, I am happy with my pick. The obvious conclusion for my choice would be the subject herself. Spirited, clever, and unique, Chloë Sevigny always makes for the interesting and inspirational subject. But I think there is a little something more to it than that. I love the refreshing 50′s era color profile, her audacious glance at the camera, and the effortlessness of her makeup. If nothing else, it is a beautiful photograph of a seemingly wonderful and talented woman. I hope you enjoy the style study.
PS. If anyone knows the source or venue where this was taken it would be so appreciated. Then my hour on pinterest and google would be for something! Currently, the only link I have to this image is here.

I’m not Chloe’s biggest fan but I’m loving this style study! The mint shirt is so easy and effortless. Thanks for sharing!

Love that outfit- I can’t wait for summer so I can wear things like that again! Also, don’t you think Saorise Ronan looks so much like Chloe Sevigny now?! Or is that just me…?
That photo does kind of grab you…it looks like it could be from decades ago! Love the mind and cream together!
Great picks! I am loving the mint and cream with the bold lipcolor. Xo
I found this look on Pinterest and it`s so cute, reminds me of an outfit I used to wear last summer, but I never found the perfect shoes for it! These are great, I love flat sandals in summer, especially when they provide a little bit of hold – as here with the strap.
