To say I have a celebrity crush on Elizabeth Olsen is a bit of an understatement. I think she is absolutely fabulous and couldn’t be more casual about it. Her latest movie (or her latest rentable movie) Liberal Arts, only solidified these feelings about her. It had been a while since I saw a movie that made me feel so content. I hadn’t seen Silver Linings Playbook yet so this really improved my post-holiday movie lull. The music, the wardrobe, the setting, and script… it all had this wonderful nostalgic energy that made me miss my own liberal arts education. Her character was a winning combination of bravado and innocence, made even more transparent by her campus-ready wears. This movie truly is a must see. I liked it so much that I couldn’t help but put on some classical music and cut offs when the credits rolled.

  1. I went to school with Lizzie for 11 years. She really is as sweet and charming as she seems. I’ll need to put Liberal Arts in my queue.

    Always love your style picks!

  2. I watched this movie a couple of weekends ago and I thought it was so great- subtle and absolutely charming. And I agree with you- I love how stylish yet relatable she seems!
