Six for the Season

As the social season inches near, I decided to order a few things to try.

This striped Alexis Crochet dress is my pick for an upcoming coastal wedding. I loved that it has just a hint of prep.  •  We have a boarding school reunion this April and I thought this white patterned boxy top and bottom by Vince was sophisticated and modern, without trying to hard.  •  I am most excited to have this navy laser-cut top and skirt in my wardrobe. The outfit is terribly comfortable and chic. I cannot wait to wear it during our upcoming trip to New York.  •  Feminine and classic come to mind for this white a-line dress by Milly.   •  The polka dots and a gorgeous steel blue color of this Carmen Marc Volvo drop waist dress caught my eye.

A GLIMPSE OF SPRING

Something about this little graphic makes me happy. Though there is nothing terribly special about a circle layout (oh hey 2012), the patterns inside them make my heart sing.

Filled with some of my summer favorites (from my wish list and current shopping cart) – the majority of these picks come from the SHOPBOP 25% Friends and Family sale!. Woohoo!

The red buttons, pattern and crochet work sold me on this DVF blouse    ••    Another DVF hit is the Samara Skirt. I love the hit of translucence     ••    This woodblock top is nothing novel but I would wear it out    ••    Oh hello little gold O earrings. You are perfect    ••    Also love a bar stud    ••    I am really coveting this white Tibi dress. It is so easy and effortless but still has a touch of tailoring    ••   Otto D’ame is a new to be designer. Love the pattern mix on this dress   •• I have these boyfriend jeans. They are the best   ••    Really want to pull the trigger on these espadrilles. Anyone have a pair? Do they hold up?

LIVING BETTER

Living better… better living… Ill take it either way.

To me, finding the time to crack open a book, no matter the content, plays a part of that. Above are three of the many books on my reading list amongst some little aspirations and acquisitions.

I ordered a little velvet ribbon from Sara Kate Studios to tie up my sheet sets in the linen closet (and for the soon to be present wrapping season)  /  Leather, quilt, and lace make for a fresh winter look  /  Barr-Co has the loveliest packaging and their products actually work. Now that the weather has cooled, I keep their hand cream next to my bed.
