When these guys pick presents, they know they are secretly buying for their “better half”.

Mr. Shadow has gone from stubble to scruff, so some strong coffee, a briefcase, and hell, even a motivational sign for the office will be under his tree this year. And Fresh Face, well… he has been working so hard he might benefit from a tie loosening and a big night out.  Though it may be the obvious choice, nothing says “live a little” like Bourbon and bottle openers. Regardless of who goes in early, and who stays out late, these two are good guys with great gift ideas:

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you all had a thankful holiday. We certainly did. Lots of food, wine and college football. I really appreciated and needed the time to relax and reflect on this happy, growth-filled year (made happy, in large part, by you guys.) I still find it so incredibly cool you take time out to read my posts and follow along. You guys make writing this blog fun and I cannot thank you enough. I hope to share more with you – personally and professionally in the new year.

Speaking of New Years, I cannot believe it is already December 2nd. This holiday season has seriously flown by. Does anyone else feel like that? With so many ads and sales bouncing around, it is sometimes hard to make sense of the day, even harder to pinpoint what we are celebrating. But now that December has finally rolled around, I think it is safe to say the “gifting” has seriously begun.

Today’s gift exchange celebrates two character traits I cannot live without: QUIRK & CLEVERNESS. It is not a coincidence that those who possess them often give the most thoughtful, creative gifts. Here are a few of their imagined exchanges.

Bow Tie Shower Curtain  • This bow shower curtain stopped by heart for a bit. I adore the graphic work and I can so see it in a little (or big) girls bathroom. / J.Crew Mini Bow Sweatshirt • We all know J.Crew is having a 30% off sale so naturally  I took the gifting mantra “one for you, two for me” to the next level. So selfish but I just couldn’t help myself when it came to their sweaters.  My favorites were the handkerchief and jacquard-stitch fair isle sweaters and the cashmere tipped sweater. / Boyfriend Cropped Jeans  • The strategic distressing on these make them a stand out from the crowd.

“New Idea” tiny Tray by John Derian • I adore this. Such a good gift.  / White Owl Mug • This works for quirk and cleverness ha.  / Blushtime Woven Watch • The woven leather on this watch makes it so special. /  Byron Bay earrings by LIONETTE • Noa Sade is a newish to me jewelry designer that sold me at first glance. I first saw her work at my favorite South Carolina boutique (Van Jean) and have loved them ever since.  / All is Calm & Bright cards from Terrain / Circle Crystal Necklace  • This is such a versatile bling piece. I feel like it would go with anything.

Checked Coat by Zara • This coat is seriously one of my favorite pieces for the season. /   Griffen Ankle Booties by Tory Burch • Wear them to a cozy cabin or cursing the streets. They are sturdy and stylish. / Get it Together Brass Comb • too clever not to include. / Lily Heart BangleKelly Weastler Syon Earrings • I love the hammered gold / Cuyana Travel Case Set • This is on my christmas list this year! I think they would make a great gift!

Satar T Strap Heels • These are my favorite thing on this list. They are so classic and cool.  /  Mast Brothers Cookbook • After eating their sea salt caramel bar I would trust anything they put in this book.  /  A.R TRAPP sunglasses • a pretty penny, quite literally.

kate spade new york journal • “leave something to the imagination” is such a fitting title. / Heart Bkr • I use these and love them. /  Buffalo Check iPhone case • This says holiday to me.  / Santal 26 candle • Hoping this gets stuffed in my stocking  / Daisy Print Mini Dress •  There is something intriguing about this print  /  MZ Wallace Metro Tote • This is my fave gym bag hands down / Studded Patent Leather Rockstuds • For the girl who has everything
